Never Like the First Time / Jonas Odell

Furry Avenue / Chris Wait
Filmed on a micro budget by a small crew, the skills demonstrated by this film were enough to gain Chris Waitt a £200,000 commission from the BBC.
The Duke Spirit / Woof Wan Bau
Inspired by lead singer Liela Moss’s bright, bleached hair, for this video Woof Wan-Bau took on the impressive task of turning her head and face into the beam from a series of lights illuminating a fin de siecle-style landscape.
Exit / Satoshi Tomioka
A young man gets caught out by his spouse in a hotel room
Panique Au Village / Pic Pic Andre
Trying to describe Panique is a tricky business; you really have to watch it for yourself in order to get the premise. Constituting a series of twenty 5-minute episodes, imagine if you can, a peculiar cross between the mis-en-scène of Postman Pat fused with the surrealist humour of Bellville Rendezous
Ma mélodie / Cyril Houplain
![]() Understated French interpretation of Paul Klees’ classic ‘a line is a dot that went for a walk’. Simple, subtle but stylishly effective adventure of line-man’s amble through clouds, rock guitars action and lusciously mouthed grass to the end of the paper.
Micky D / Bessy & Comb
![]() A grey industrialized contemporary universe, where procedure and routine is the norm. A lone girl stumbles across a secret venue of vibrant music and dance. |
